Mariko S. Carpenter is the Vice President, Strategic Community Alliances at Nielsen. In this role, Mariko serves as a thought leader on Asian American consumer data, sharing valuable insights to help brands, marketers and community leaders understand the impact and influence of Asian Americans in this country. Mariko brings to light the narrative behind the massive volume of data that is available in our increasingly multicultural, ever-changing digital world.

Prior to joining Nielsen, Mariko was the Consumer Marketing lead at Conde Nast, responsible for driving consumer revenue for three iconic brands: GQ, Bon Appetit and Golf Digest. She holds a BA in Asian Studies and French from Vassar College and MS in Marketing from New York University.
